Each room in the house or apartment can be arranged wisely and imaginatively to ensure keeping it tidy took minimum time and effort. You can devise a system of wardrobes, closets, drawers and shelves that allow you to freely configure or modify them. It is worth deciding what in the room has its place and what is unnecessary. Many things can be hidden, which perfectly improves the home organisation, but there is still the issue of cleaning. Here are a few tips from our team at Bien Magazine on how to create a well-organised and clean house.
Living room
This most representative room must always be ready to welcome guests. It is important that the floor is always clean and the table cleared from clutter. Do not let your housemates leave unnecessary things on the table or on the floor. Make sure there is always a vase of flowers on the table. Treat yourself to a nice cardboard box or a wicker basket, which will be a decoration in the living room but in fact will serve as safe, which hides, if needed, everything that does not belong to the living room décor.
Bathroom
Clean it regularly, teach all household members that after taking a bath or shower, to clean after themselves. Keep the toilet fresh by using the toilet disks. Make sure to never run out of air freshener in there, so your visitor who needs to use the toilet does not come out looking disgusted. Remember also to keep the mirror clean as sometimes it can be stained with splashes of toothpaste.
Kitchen
Wash the dishes regularly and teach this habit to all household members. There is nothing more annoying than trying to prepare a meal in the kitchen, full with piled up dirty pots and crockery. Put everything that you can into the dishwasher and what needs to be washed immediately do it there and then. After each visit to the kitchen, do not forget about wiping the worktops with a microfiber cloth.
Cleaning regularly will save you a lot of time
In order not to lose the whole weekend and free time to clean up the chaos after a whole week, give the cleaning of each room a few minutes a day. After a while when you get a feel for it and this will become a routine, it may turn out that instead of spending Saturday at the laborious cleaning, you have time for your pleasures.
